Basically Harnish didn't stat against ISU because they thought that he wasn't physically ready, not because Grady won the job. Josh the punter tried to say that on this board and basically got shouted down.

I am not a JK hater. Overall he was good for the program. Heck, if just would have done his job for one more week leading up to Detroit, then the biggest issue I'd have with him would be his poor judgement in talent in putting Grady in as our opening day starter.

I'll give some credence to Josh's thoughts but IMHO..........

CH started the next week after JK realized his error, not because of a sudden change (couple days later) in the condition of CH's knee.
He followed that with a couple nice outings vs Illinois & Minnesota ( almost 2 Big 10 wins on the road.)

Nice mention of NIU multiple times during Harnish's drive. To bad he is already taken out.
