Malzahn has already called 2 recruits who were committed to ASU and told them he didn't have room for them. Rumor is he will be calling more to give them the bad news. Sounds like Malzahn has found better recruits than what Freeze had lined up for ASU. I hope this becomes the biggest recruiting season in ASU history.

or those recruits don't fit the schemes he wants to run. This happens all the time when a new coach is hired.

I think Malzahn will do some good with recruiting at ASU.

I'm sure that's correct, but he is looking at some really good players.

I just saw this one with offers from LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Notre Dame, UCLA, USC and others.

The 2 kids were an O-lineman and a mobile QB. I find it hard to believe they don't fit his scheme. Malzahn is going after the best. Those other 2 kids just got replaced by better recruits.

Just added my thoughts to one particularly moronic Memphis fan who was talking about how there was no way Malzahn could outrecruit Fuentes, which is hilarious considering how many of them wanted Malzahn as their coach and how many of them were on suicide watch when the Fuentes hiring was announced.

Hey at least Tech fans have won a few games, been to a few bowls recently and can still act under the assumption of being better than Sun Belt teams since they haven't played a game against the Sun Belt in 5 seasons.

Memphis fans maintain their superiority over the Sun Belt despite being 2-6 against Sun Belt teams in that same time frame.

You guys do realize that Memphis St should be in the SEC....
