I hope it is true as well, a decision has to be made soon to release the schedules for next year.

According to this, it's a jurisdictional thing and even if a court in Rhode Island issues an injunction for WVU to stay in the BE they will not have the power to enforce it. Thereby creating a situation where it is more advantageous for all to just settle......or something like that.

Anyway, welcome WVU to the Big 12 in 12! Now let's get to beating each other's brains out as quickly as possible.

I got an email about 10 minutes ago (those who know me will know who I'm talking about), saying a deal is imminent. I was told the deal is "under $15 million", paid out over "more than one year". Very encouraging news.


He also stated that another "insider" for what it's worth said the deal was 12.5 million PLUS the Big East gets to keep money owed to WVU from their Final Four appearance and this years Orange Bowl money...Still can't believe WVU hasn't received the money from the Final Four, that is crazy!

Other folks are saying the settlement is $24 million. But I've seen nothing official yet. It's all rumor at present...

Also hearing my way that a settlement was reached. Too bad you sons of *****'s won the last brawl lol. Best of luck to the WVU program.
