In fact a loss tonight could set the tone for a fairly average season. How do we avoid that. We need to get Marshall into foul trouble because he seems to not be able to come back from that and play a good game. If he is out there for 30 minutes someone will have to play a once in a season type game to slow him down. Greene will be less effective tonight because of their height so we need the guards to score more than usual. We also need some good defense on the perimeter.

Yea, I'm a bit nervous, but I think Zips fans are too. I just looked at their message board. They are talking about attendance and making haiku's. (And they say we suck.)
I'm looking to see the same team we saw in WV. To take a page out of Jim Christian's book and hope our guys "trust the system." I think individuals are trying to take the reigns, but pull the trigger too soon. Hence, not trusting the system. If they play the game and be a leader by following Sendy's design, we will be fine. Our fate does not depend on if Zeke has a good game, but how well we do what we do best... Which was what we saw in Morgontown.

that would be haikus

And that would have been a week ago.
Besides, I really hate annoying people that critique spelling on blogs, facebook, etc. We aren't on here writing legal documents or a thesis. I write on blogs for leisure reasons. If you want to be so anal as to point out spelling, when everyone clearly understand what I am saying, THEN GET A BLOODY LIFE!

Wow! you put a lot of energy into something that's not that big of a deal. Get a life yourself.

Zippy Roo Who

Now, that's original.

Isn't that what Texans call being 'all hat and no cattle'?

No, but Kent is being all potatoes and no meat.

This coming from a fan of a team that builds a new stadium, hires a schwag coach, loses every game, can't draw flies, fires coach, hires 2nd schwag coach and you want to cast stones? Careful buddy. Bowden's Southern drunk schtick isn't going to win points in the MAC. You are destined for another 3-5 years in the cellar. Enjoy.

All potatoes and no meat? Sounds like Zeke, a top 40 recruit 7 footer that still struggles to reach double figures and 5 rebounds a game despite having several inches height advantage every game.

Coming from the fan base that sports "Can't State" on their message board. I think that one is older than I am. I'll wait for your next un-witty comeback.

What's the problem? Potatoes are awesome.

RE: Akron
On the topic of potatoes, should we start a poll to guess how many seasons Tator Tot gets at Akron U?

Their re-tread history isn’t good. Gerry Faust got a few, but Walt Harris only one. I’ll open with three entertaining seasons for T2 at Second Chance U. Entertaining for us, not them.

Anyone else?

I love their A.D. He is the gift that just keeps on giving. I can't wait for his next move! We can just put the original Wagon Wheel and the new Wagon Wheel trophy on permanent display.
