Just wondering if you have events for NSD open to the public or restricted by donation level or at all.

We generally have an event The night of signing day. Its free to donors, but only a small charge to nondonors...so its for just about anyone.

Not sure if we are still having it this year under Malzahn or not though...

We've had three signing days and there have been free public events for all of them. They've included highlight videos, comments from coaches and the athletic director and a Q & A session.

FAU used to have a little thing at the Oxley I believe. This year they are trying something new...

Tad pricey IMHO.

Well, if you were looking for an opportunity to get to know Coach Pelini and his new staff, here it is!! This is a charity benefit with proceeds going directly to the Football Excellence Fund to help Coach Pelini continue to build the FAU football program.

This event was planned to coincide with National Signing Day so Coach Pelini could showcase the new FAU recruits and allow him an opportunity to formally introduce his new coaching staff. BTW, each table will have an assistant coach seated at it with Coach Pelini seated at the Premier Sponsor's table.

Purchasing a ticket to this groundbreaking event is just the first step in helping contribute to FAU Football. During the event, there will also be an auction where you may bid on items with proceeds benefitting the football program as well.

Coach Pelini needs our assistance in building the football program to take it to the next level. Your support has never been as important as it is this year.

Don't miss this stellar opportunity to meet Coach Pelini and his new staff and you never know, some of the new recruits may pay a visit as well.

Here are the details, act now as space is limited:

That is a bit much. Our first two where open to the public. Found out yesterday that this year it will be open only to donors at the Bronze ($1000) level and above. Some don't seem to realize that for real football fans this is our NFL Draft Party. Exclusivity is not the way to sell a program at the mid major level. We're not Texas
