State Farm Arkansas Classic
Just looking at UALR baseball schedule and on Tues May 8th there is a double header game at Dickey-Stephens park in NLR with ASU playing UAPB and UALR playing UCA.

Need to put that date on your calendar. This may have already been posted here but I missed it.

Should be a fun night. Maybe it will provide the push needed for the same kind of doubleheader event in basketball at Verizon Arena. But, as Inside pointed out, there are a lot more obstacles to overcome there.

I don't really care about the tournament concept, but I would like to play UCA home and home every year. That should be a win, win for both programs, and would effectively give us two home games each year, since traveling to Conway is very easy.

That will be a fun night of baseball. Good in-state competition never hurt anyone.
