And for sunday... Go Michigan
If michigan can beat OSU in cleveland tomorrow, we'll be within one point of 1st place going into next weekend. with Miami and BG coming up, this could be a season-defining stretch

Plus we'll have two games in hand!

Scouting the schedules:

Us: @Miami, H&H w/BG, vs Alaska, vs OSU, @LSSU, H&H w/ Ferris
Them: vs Ferris, @LSSU, vs MSU, @WMU, bye, H&H w/Miami

These next 3 weeks we can really put ourselves ahead and get some space if OSU continues their bad play.

Ugh, can we hope for Mr. Whinny's giant sinkhole solution instead?

I'm not saying those two words or anything that involves "Blue" unless I'm quoting Old School.

That said, it's pretty nice to be alone in 2nd place (with games in hand on everyone but Notre Dame) despite having a couple rough patches this season and the occasional scoring woes.

I'm actually hoping for a tie/shootout today. a scUM win vaults them all the way up to 3rd and hot on our trail. We got 2 games in hand on OSU. 2-3 pts down is nothing.

Well, the Bucknuts did little this weekend. That blue team beat them today 4 - 1.

This may be a case of, "be careful what you wish for . . . . . ", as the season is far from over, and in my assessment Michigan may very well finish higher in the CCHA standings than Ohio State. Our place in the standings, though, will be determined by us; nobody else. If we play like we did this weekend the rest of the way, the league is ours. This weekend against Miami is monumental in many respects.

Ohio State's played 10 freshmen in at least 15 of their games. It'll be interesting to see how they react to their recent slide and adversity.

Oof. UMD finally loses, outshooting UNO 44-17 but losing 3-1.

This week, they host Alabama-Huntsville.

That's going to be a massacre.

Sounds Familiar.........maybe the Bronco team from 3 seasons ago?? Riley Gill would stop 50 and we would maybe have like 10 shots on net and win or tie....lol, but wow, UMD vs UAH will be a massacre for sure
