Klinsmann adding a nice schedule of friendlies
US Soccer has signed some nice friendlies over the next 7 months or so.

Venezuela and Panama are later this month, though it won't be the senior team in the game.

On Feb. 29, the US plays against Italy. I think I read on Twitter that there may be another European team a few days later since that is a FIFA date.

Brazil announced a series of exhibitions in the US this summer, including a game against the US.

Grant Wahl posted on Twitter earlier tonight that the US will make its first appearance in the Estadio Azteca in a non-qualifying match since 1999 in August. F*** Mexico.

Plus, qualifying starts this summer.

He needs to somehow in at least one of these friendlies coming up to get landon and clint on the team together and on the field together. We have yet to see it since Klinsi has taken over.

Without injuries I'm sure that Landon and Clint will be together for the Italy game. BTW, Clint needs to play up top for us all the time. He is killing the EPL right now playing that withdrawn striker role at Craven Cottage.

That's a good match to test the two out together with. I like Tex's idea for Clint.

Yep, the Italy game should feature Dempsey and Donovan barring an injury. It's an official FIFA Day unlike the game today so the clubs must release the players.

I'm just really glad Klins finally called Feilhaber up for this set of friendlies. He looked good out there tonight

Just to clarify, TN, it is the Senior team that played last night and will face Panama. Just a 'B' roster as is typical for January camp.

Yeah, I mis-worded it earlier.

He did. I saw a lot of potential in De La Garza at Right Back too. His touch was good and he was tenacious in defense. Just needs to learn to pass the ball quicker.
