Bears question - What do you do in final 2 weeks?
Normally Id say rest everyone, BUT.....

Number one seed is STILL within reach. Bears would be the number one seed overall IF

a) Rams lose one of their remaining 2 games (@ Arizona, vs SF)

AND

b) Bears win their final 2 games (@ SF, @ Minnnesota)

AND

c) Saints lose 2 of their final 3 (@ Carolina, vs Pittsburgh, vs Carolina)

And obviously if Rams/Saints lose out, Bears would only need to win 1 of their final 2. It appears as though Bears would own ALL tiebreakers.

I just don't think you can sit players right now. The odds of playing an extra playoff game and then winning both @ LA and @ Saints is just too low to not try and improve your standing. The problem I see is getting the Rams to lose one of those. I know Rams are in somewhat of a downward spiral, but kind of hard to imagine them losing to SF or Arizona. And if obviously if you can get into that 2nd position if Saints or Rams can fulfill those fates above, it would improve your Super Bowl odds immensely by playing just one road game. Tonights MNF game between Saints and Panthers will go a long way in determining how realistic it is

I think you have to play every game like you've played the previous 14 games.

I agree with that, I fear Nagy doesn't though. I think he got some pub for that holding Bears out of preseason and to be consistent with that, I think he may rest a bunch of people. I think if the Saints lose tonight though, you just cannot do it.

You can't sit anyone right now. A preseason game is meaningless, if there is any meaning in these next few games (Home field, bye week) you have got to play the starters. Eddie Jackson might be the one exception.

Agree, I need to google that injury I hope he can come back for the playoffs. Heartbreak city with Saints winning a narrow one. Going to realistically have to hope Bears win out, and Rams slip up against once in 2 games vs bad opponents to get a 2 seed.

The Saints and the Rams have not looked themselves. If the Bears make it past the Wild Card round and play the Rams in LA, I like their chances. There could be more Bears fans in the stands there than Rams.

I think that's right, Bears might have a shot in LA. The Dome probably another story unfortunately. At least it does appear Bears would get to go to LA first if they get to the 2nd round. Maybe Dallas can shock the world again and beat the Saints forcing an NFC Championship in Chicago. Wouldn't that be a network's dream, Bears vs Cowboys NFC Championship
