EMU leading by 2, hits 1 of 2 FTs, but gets the rebound.

Eastern wins 70-66. Amazing how one injury completely changes a season...

Knew it was going to be a long first half with Dola having to sit, but Coach did a great a job of finding a way to keep it reasonable. The second half I thought was failry even.

RE: WBB vs EMU - Wednesday
You just can't expect to get down 10-15 points in every game and then step it up and come back to win every time-----especially when you a cut 14 point lead down to 2 with about a minute to go and then miss the front end of a one and one-------and to compound it, with about 6 seconds left and getting down to needing a miracle, let them rebound one of their missed fee throws. At this point the Ladies could easily be anywhere from 3-0 to 0-3 so 1-2 is probably just about where they deserve to be right now.

The team has just not yet learned to maintain a consistently high level of play without Naama to act as the glue that holds them together. However, I suspect that Cullop will have them playing together better as the season goes on.

Losing Naama sucks. It's going to be the same with losing Eric Page. Underachieving... 2 of the best athletes per sport in Toledo history and not getting that 4th year of play out of them.

Do we know that about Naama?

Idk? I thought it was highly unlikely she was coming back. That she wanted to go back home after this year?

They way it sounded it seemed like she was leaning towards not coming back. Why else wouldn't she just come out and say "I'll be back"
