UTSA is the Starting at the Bottom
According to this:

http://ncaabbs.com/showthread.php?tid=547586

UTSA will start next season as the lowest ranked team in an FBS conference.

Also, the WAC will be the lowest ranked conference.

The Sagarin rating can be used to calculate a line for any two teams. You just find the difference between the ratings of the two teams and then give the home team a few extra points (I gave the home team 3 points for example).

The only team UTSA should be favored over is NW Oklahoma State (no Sagarin rank).

UTSA is pretty evenly matched with Texas State, Georgia State, South Alabama, and McNeese State.

In all other games, UTSA would be at least two touchdown underdog.

In short, UTSA is starting at the very bottom and it's going to be a challenging season next year and the year after that will be even more challenging.

I know none of this means a lot. It's just something to think about about until next season starts.

We all have to start somewhere. The good thing about being ranked last is that any win is a major upset and you can only go up. I feel sorry for any of the teams that we beat because they are going to be the butt of many jokes.

No where to go but up...give it 3-4 years and you'll be looking at a bowl game.

Don't forget A&M Commerce. We should win that one by 35...minimum!

Our games were mostly competitive last year. The conference games we have aren't completely unwinnable. We've got 6 packed dome games to ride.

If we have a 5-7 season I'll be estatic.

Wins over: NW OK ST, TXCC,
Toss up: S. Alabama, Georgia ST, TXST, Sam Houston St
Tough Game: NMST, Idaho, SJSU
Loss: LA Tech, USU, Rice

You will not beat Sam Houston St.

They return everyone from the Runner up game last year.

Trust me..
I went to school there.

Sam Houston is a tough team no doubt. The only reason I'd say toss up. We played them fairly tough on the road. This time we are at home and have some experience on what it's like playing the runner up FCS champs.

If we go .500 I'll be happy, but I think we may be better than most people think we will be.
