Midweek MAC Predictions
This might be the biggest home game of the season for UT. A win over Ball State puts the Rockets at a new level of MAC respect. I think that playing at home is worth about six points. But, Ball State is probably still a little too good.

Seems like a stretch. While Ball is 9-4, they have no wins over teams currently with a winning record other than Butler (9-8), which is down this year.

Why is it a stretch RWT? The current level of MAC respect for UT men's basketball is quite low.........as in "will Toledo win a conference game" type of respect. Getting a win against a decent MAC team would put the MAC respect for UT men's basketball at a new level.

Because we really don't know if Ball State (or just about any team in the MAC West) is a "decent" MAC team 03-wink

BG is decent, so is Ball State and a good percentage of the MAC...Heck, Toledo is borderline decent... But it seems, as in years past, that teams from the MAC will beat up on each other and will subsequently leave the conference with only one rep at the NCAA dance...

Compared to what UT has done the last few years, EVERY MAC TEAM IS AT LEAST DECENT! Cool, I just yelled at RWT. 03-wink
