So much for the Lady pigs playing at Stephens
I believed their new coach had finally turned around their program after an 11-1 start. I guess it was mostly smoke and mirrors, as they are now 0-3 in the SEC after losing at home today 69-38 to Tennessee. I'm still hoping we get an Arkansas team in the NCAA regional at Stephens. Obviously my #1 choice would be UALR, although it does not appear very likely. I think UCA has a pretty decent chance of winning the Southland Tourney and I'll be pulling them since my friend's daughter is a freshman on the team. UAF may still have an outside shot, since a .500 SEC record would probably get them in the tourney. I'm just hoping we get a team that will bring a crowd, since I assume we could take a financial hit if attendance is very poor. ASU would appear to be a real longshot, while 0-13 UAPB seems even more unlikely.
