The way you made it sound was that any time you eat there that they push their beliefs on you. I just found that hard to be true. I'm not saying you have to eat there. I was just saying that they don't "bible thump" when you are in the building.

they are free to run their company how they see fit...but I'm also free to not eat there.

of course, as I've said, the main reasons are it's a little too expensive for me, and I always seem to want it on Sunday mornings.

Huey's isn't Top 10 in Memphis anymore, but it's still fine. They're in timeout for a while for having the audacity to not serve me a beer Wednesday night. That "Absolutely No Alcohol Without ID" sign behind the register should only be a suggestion.

I finally went to Roxie's about 2 months ago....it was seriously, hands-down, the best burger I've had in Memphis....and maybe anywhere. I was so full I had about two or three bites of the burger left, & couldn't bring myself to just throw it away - it went in the fridge and I finished it later that night. SUBLIME.
