Both players are very good. But I believe Gualt is more versatile. She can play the 1,2 and 3 position.

Chas developed into a great player. She was somewhat unheralded when she arrived. But as I recall, Taylor was the ladies player of the year in Arkansas her senior season. She came with much higher credentials than Chas. But if she continues to improve and stays all four years, she'll probably break all of the women's scoring records.

My friend, who's daughter was ranked that 2nd or 3rd best player in the State, said he had never heard of Taylor Gault when I asked him about her the other day. He didn't believe she was highly ranked, but I'll do some checking on that.

Taylor Gault was unranked according to ESPN Hoopgurlz site- she got a rating of "40" which is given to all players who have not been officially evaluated. By contrast, my friend's daughter (Sharlay Burris) was rated as the #36 guard in the nation and given a rating of 90. Sharlay signed with UCA and is started to get more playing time on a very good UCA team.

RE: Reed vs. Gault
Well, she should have been rated the best player in the state. She gets my vote. And why was a kid evaluated who signed with UCA, and Taylor wasn't evaluated at all. As someone said, Taylor could play for anyone. The fact that she wasn't evaluated tells you something about the rating system.

RE: Reed vs. Gault
I guess all that matter is that Foley thought she was the best player in the state. According to the presser on her signing she chose UALR over North Carolina State.

RE: Reed vs. Gault
Coach Foley told me at the luncheon yesterday that North Carolina wanted her very badly, but she wanted to stay near home. Wish some of our really good men players in the area felt that same way.
