I think Memphis has played well considering the level of competition. Thats a brutal early schedule.

According to RealTimeRPI, Memphis has the #3 strength of schedule.

USM has played some good basketball so far, but the road to the conference championship still goes through Memphis.

ahhh the tournament, a game which you lead the entire 8 seconds (the most important 8 seconds). Yet you guys were one missed call away from not winning that game. I didn't know that was called a road

I don't whine about calls. Either you play good enough to win or you don't.

Right now, only two teams are projected to make the NCAAs. Two others might make the NIT. After that, this conference is having a really down year.

19 Southern Miss
32 Memphis
61 Marshall
83 UCF
133 Tulsa
160 East Carolina
164 UAB
175 Tulane
176 UTEP
195 Rice
215 South. Methodist
235 Houston

The conference may not be at the level it was last year, but I still think it is going to be very competitive race.

Eight teams realistically have no chance at the conference title, and I'm being generous.

that is a lot better than what you guys were saying last year. Last year a lot of your fans were putting the number at 11

Like I said, I was being generous. Most likely, Memphis will still win with USM coming in second.

Now this sounds familiar... are you guys going 10-6 this year?

That would be better than the 6-10 that you guys are looking at.

don't you worry about us, we know when we're having our coming out party, just make sure you keep your "road" paved.... because for the three years after that, the "road" is going to be on detour. It would really be bad if you guys didn't win the conference for a third straight year

that is good thinking, because if you don't win the title this year, it probably ain't going to happen in the next 3
