Timing of WN's injury
Again, trying to look at this in a positive light, if Will is back fairly soon the timing of this couldn't have been much better. No way we beat UNT or Denver without Will, but he was there and we did. FAU is very talented, but we have a reasonable shot at beating them at home even without him. Then we go to ULM- no Sun Belt game is a gimme but they are certainly a team we could beat on the road without Will. Then on to ASU, a game which is generally unpredictable no matter who is on the floor for either team. I would certainly have favored us to win, with Will, but we may have lost anyway. I certainly favor them, without Will, but again you never know in that game. So we could start 4-1. I don't have the schedule in front of me, but I figure if we go 5-3 in our first 8 conference games (which seems very possible) we would still be in position to win the whole league and/or the division (or finish second and get a bye) with a strong second half (hopefully with a healthy WN and an improved MJ).

I think you are an optimist, but it could happen.

No kidding! The two opening conference road wins have really got MJS going.
