I'll have to check the Kent roster.

I suspect that the match-up of Zeke Marshall vs. Riley wasn't the best for Da'Shonte.

From what I've seen statistically, Kent shoots well, but aren't the best in terms of defense or rebounding.

Riley and Balkema will have to keep Greene from taking over, and our perimeter D can't let Randal Holt get hot. If we play with the intensity level of the BGSU game, we could spring an upset. If we play as hard as we did against Akron, it could be a long night.

Good overall first half although Kent made a move in the late in the half.

Gotta do something to stop Kent inside...Greene is eating Balkema alive.

Our offense looks good. Antonio Green and Quintin Dailey are both playing well.

Gonna have to risk playing Riley most of the half if our interior D can't improve. I give credit to Kent...they are very athletic and versatile. Still, we are making some simple mistakes on D, where we are usually sharp.

Win some of these games and lose some.

We got some good perimeter play from Lamps, etc.

Tough result, but some positive things happened. The refs were atrocious, but I'm no way are they the reason we lost. You can't really do anything when Holt hits a 27 footer to take the lead (after missing every three he took prior to that).

Kent is the most gifted and talented team I've watched so far in the MAC. They had no desire to get a defensive rebound (we had tons of 2nd chance points), but their best players came through when it mattered.

Oh well...on to the Ohio game. Somehow WMU and BSU keep losing, so we are still in first by a game. Would be nice to get one more win against the east. If we can beat Ohio, I like our chances to take the west, but who knows? What a crazy season.

Our team has been very competitive in conference play. Losing the senior guards will hurt. I think Harper, Sims and Thompson need some help next year.

There was wrestling senior night in Bowen at the same time, about half the student section was there because Eagle Nation gives out more points for that event.

Lets hope for good attendance this Saturday. Team needs the support.
