The way that Oliver Luck has gone about the exit process? I have become somewhat of a Big East fan from all the expansion and would love to see the Big East pull in a BCS victory.

A West Virginia victory would most likely cause a lot of ill feelings from the fans who want them out the conference now but a victory would also give the Big East needed AQ points and may help to solidify the position of all the new members.

Correct me if wrong but weren't the final BCS standings on December 4th? I'm rooting for Clemson to lose, let's put it that way.

People that want to downgrade the league will say "well WVU no longer is in the league" even if they win tonight, but I'll still root for a Big East victory over the ACC.

As a Coog, I only see benefits.

WV is reppin the Big East, 1st of all..

Second of all, Clemson going down is one less team we have ahead of us in the rankings..

I'm not rooting for or against WVU.

I am rooting against Clemson and the ACC (from what I read, Clemson was one of the "no" votes against inviting UConn).

I think they vote again after the title game don't they? Well I know the AP poll does so a Clemson loss will get Houston to the 18th spot or higher.

WVU is representing the Big East, so i am rooting for them.

Watching ACC go 2-6 in bowl games this year and 2-13 in BCS games is way more satisfying.

Barring a big comeback, in the BCS era:

ACC: 2-13 in all BCS games

1-9 in Orange Bowl (their home bowl)
1-3 in Sugar Bowl
0-1 in Fiesta Bowl



I FULLY realize that bowls and conference inclusion is about much more than on field results. Good thing for the ACC, otherwise they'd be no better off than the Big East in the next few years. Quite frankly, their champion usually sucks compared to your average BCS team.

Exactly, as long as they are still a member in the conference I will be rooting for them.

After tonight, WVU will have more BCS wins for The BEast in the last 6 years than all the ACC teams have for the ACC in the entire BCS era...

Well, since it's against the ACC...yes.

Actually, I want West Virginia to stay so they along with Houston and the rest of the incoming schools as well as the remaining schools can make this the BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL CONFERENCE IN THE WORLD! Sadly, you can't always get what you want. (Oliver Luck's lack of class is proof of that.)

While I don't like the way W. Va is trying to leave the Big East, I am rooting for them in the game against Clemson because W. Va is representing the Big East and Clemson is from the ACC. Anytime the Big East can put a whipping on the ACC, I am all for it. One more quarter to go 63-26 W. Va and the Big East up.
