Scout has him confirmed as a mid-year signee (was a qualifer out of h.s.).

http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1145473.html

Both he and Cy Maughmer should be on campus for 2nd semester.

RE: New DL Commit
Yes he does have 3 years remaining.. See information I was able to get from Rival.com

Travis Linser, OL/DL, 6-foot-4, 250 pounds, Northwest Christian
If he were playing at a 5A school he would have multiple D1 offers. Lisner could be one of the biggest sleepers in the state. He is also an accomplished basketball player. He is very nasty on the field with a solid D1 skill set and will continue to get interest after signing day. Holy Cross and Army are showing some interest but he is another player that may go the junior college route if the right D1 offer does not come his way.

Travis Linser Senior high School film (This is all I could find).

Travis stats for the one year he played at the JUCO

His stats certainly make him look active...
40 tackles in 9 games as a Dlineman...
2 picks!!!!
Only one sack, but the other numbers show me he's still busy.

I was looking for some college tape on him because his college wasn't vey good record (W/L) so he should come here wanting to be part of a winning program. I am thinking that their defense wasn't good and he was being doubled teamed (Wishful thinking). From everything I've read and seen he should have recieved some offer in his senior year. I am not sure what caused this not to happen. Maybe he will be like other English juco recruit. We must trust our coach again.
