UCONN vs. Seton Hall
Just got started. It is on ESPN3 if anyone wants to watch it. UCONN is without Calhoun for this game. Seton Hall usually is a tough out at home. Should be a good test for the young Huskies.

RE: UCONN vs. Seton Hall
Seton Hall has a 13 point lead going in the second half. Still too early to talk about upset.

Isn't this the last game Calhoun will miss?

This is the last game Calhoun will be gone. Blaney coaches a little different. Calhoun calls a lot of timeouts during key moments while Blaney let them play on.

The refs are letting Pirates play very physical. Huskies have to adjust to this style of reffing quickly.

RE: UCONN vs. Seton Hall
why isnt seton hall ranked? with their RPI and play they should be. of course if they had a different name on their jerseys and all else was the same they probably would be

UConn is getting their butts handed to them. Seton Hall is really on a roll right now...

If they hold on they'll be top 3 in the RPI and should be in the top 25.

SH will get ranked if they beat the Friars on Saturday. They just didn't have any quality wins prior to BE play.

I think rolling over UConn like they did will get Seton Hall some votes, no matter how they do against Providence...

RE: UCONN vs. Seton Hall
Nice win for Seton Hall. UCONN has beat them 11 straight times with last Seton Hall win in 2001. It is bound to happen sooner or later. Shabazz had a horrible game which is unlike him. Seton Hall could not miss from the 3 point line. Seton Hall was 10 for 20 from 3 with 50% shooting percentage. This young UCONN team will take its lumps early this season.

Good thing is Calhoun is back for next game and team will definitely be ready by March.

I had wondered what happened to you, Husky. You've been strangely quiet during this game, for some strange reason... 05-stirthepot

Harvard lost today so there's one spot open for them to jump in the top 25. Losing to the Friars will get them some votes but not enough to be ranked.

Even if there isn't room in the top 25, a win like this will cause them to make room...

THE HALL IS BACK, BAYBEE! Possibly because Calhoun wasn't back, but a W is a W is a W.

Congrats to Coach Williard on the win for the Pirates. Your comment is spot on. It's hard to rank a team that is not a traditional power when until a few days ago they had not beaten anyone of note and lost to Northwestern while getting crushed by Syracuse. It's a great week though beating WVU badly and cruising against UConn.

Road wins in the BE will be tough. Even teams like RU will put up a good fight. You have to take care of your home games if you want to have any chance in the BE.

I was watching the game LOL. UCONN forgot to play defense this game. That was a wake up call. I expect this team to take its lumps early due to youth. Many UCONN fans expect this upset believe it or not. UCONN was only a 2 points favorite.

I am not concerned right now since I seen growth of many young UCONN teams over the years. I be worried if we play like this bad late Feb or early March though.

RE: UCONN vs. Seton Hall
I think Seton Hall had a bit to do with it, dude. WVU played their worst game of the season last week at Seton Hall. Now UConn does the same. The only commonality is the fact that both games were at Seton Hall. They've been tough at home lately...
