Great clutch win tonight.
I did think this was the most winnable of this three game road trip.
We've always sort of had North Texas's number, even when they had more talented players. Denver is another story. We've never done very well in Denver, but I'm not writing it off as yet. Kentucky will just be a good experience for the kids, but barring a miracle, that's an unwinnable game. But if by some great effort we manage to beat Denver, we're in pretty good shape in the conference. We can enjoy the moment right now, being in first place in the league.04-cheers

I know it's ridiculous to say after one game, but this really was a very big win. UNT will be in the hunt for the first 2 spots in the Division and a first round bye. Hopefully, we will be as well. Getting a win at their place could end up being very important if we hold serve against them at home.

It was a nice win for you guys (all road wins are in conference play), but I really doubt we're gonna be in contention for the West. I had thought maybe a 10-6 or 11-5 type of league mark was our ceiling, but now I'm thinking more like 8-8.

There's really no way to predict things at this point, but I still believe you guys will be in the hunt especially once Mitchell gets in the swing of things. It doesn't look like ASU or ULM will be major factors in the race. I don't know much about ULL. Denver looks very good, but they always seem to have trouble winning away from home. I think we are a work in progress just like you are.

It was huge. Now we know we can win, we can win on the road, we can come back - a whole bunch of things.
