MTSU ladies...
blow by #6 Kentucky 70-58. Looks like it may be a tough trip to Murfreesboro for both our men and ladies.

Wow. That's scary. We knew it would be a tough year for the ladies. They have some talent, but it's mostly young and inexperienced.
However, I believe we all thought the men would do better than they've done, so far. But there are a lot of games left, so there are wins to be had out there for both our ladies and men.

RE: MTSU ladies...
I was at the game last night. I'm not counting them out but I don't think the ladies will win the division this season but I was impressed with them. They made some underclassmen mistakes at key times in the game, which I'm sure will be good teaching points during film sessions. Fohne should get better once she gets stronger, but right now she is no match for stronger and experienced post players. Every time she was in the game, UNT post players would score. They would just moved her off the block. Ford looks like she is getting better running the point. She does need to do a better job of locking on with her eyes on a player she is going to pass the ball. I think this resulted in 2 turnovers where the player stole the ball and scored. I think Gault will be the FOY, but she does have moments when she tries to do too much. But to be a true freshman she shown for the most part she can be cool under pressure. I like the combination of Kursh and Brittani Williams. Also, the ladies seem to make strides with their press offense. It wouldn't surprise me to see this team make a deep run in the conference tournament. Of course, this is based on the team keeps growing and listening to Foley.

I saw talent there the game against a pretty nice Seattle team. I wasn't sure about Taylor Ford at the point, but she showed me she could have a good game, and if Coach Foley thinks she's the best we have at that position, I'm not going to question his judgement.
He's proven he knows how to arrange a lineup to get the most out of it.
