Dude, not that it matters, but what's your dislike of the Friars? Seriously, an honest question...

RE: BE Basketball Conference Play!
Providence was ahead of WVU in The BEast standing. With y'all losing, WVU is now ahead of Providence in conference. Once the Mountaineers take care of Villanova tomorrow, WVU will also be ahead of St. John's and Notre Dame (Providence and Pitt too)...

Who said anything about dislike? I never did. That was your idea...

The Pitt game on New Years day isn't the guaranteed loss I thought it would be, however I don't like that we'll be playing them pissed off...

Dude, as a Friar can you enlighten me to whats up with the back of your coaches head? Is it a condition or did someone shave his head when he fell asleep on the bus?

RE: BE Basketball Conference Play!
Talk about an underwhelming performance from Pitt. Notre Dame did nothing before conference play. They beat 9 bad teams and lost to all 5 name teams they played. The Irish were 9-5 against only 3 opponents who are likely to be an NCAA team. Yet they dominated the Panthers.

We'll know a lot more in a few weeks, but Cuse, UofL, UConn, Marquette, and GTown appear to be a top 5 at the moment. The Hoyas have crumbled in league play several times recently though so it should be interesting. I do think we'll see some gaudy records from the top few teams.

ND played us pissed off and it didn't matter. All the wheels seem to be off the cart right now.

Looks like our 20-10 streak may be broken. 20 wins and 10 BE wins, I think our streak is something like 10 years?

Those "New York's College Team" slogans move from "dumb" to "actively insulting" when they're on a basketball court as opposed to a football field.

I know Georgetown has some nice wins so far and is playing a big game versus Louisville right now, and yet I'm watching the Military Bowl anyway.

It's still football season to me ...

We're New York's College Team. More so for basketball, than football. Deal with it.

You're upstate, you're not really New York, you might as well be Canadian.

By your reasoning Cincinati might as well be in Kentucky, its not really in Ohio. 03-lmfao

Yes because there isn't more to New York state, other than New York City. Large cities like Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton, etc. aren't apart of New York.

Those two places are about as culturally interesting as watching flies fornicate.

Yes there's absolutely nothing interesting about those two cities. One is the capital of the Empire State. The other houses a famous D1 athletics program.

Wait, did you mean New York state? Because, okay, I can kinda see that. But not the city. I mean, certainly not over the team whose home court is MSG.
