Just getting the crap kicked out of us by Purdue's O line. Compared to their O line ours looks like a slow group of fat boys who swallowed a McDonalds.

I don't think we'll ever be much of a contender for anything, let along a bowl win, until we get a defense. It's been this way for years and I don't see anything on the horizon that would change it. When you play a gambler's offense chance can play an awfully big part in results. You'd better have a defense.

Well we know how bad we are playing when the girl commentating this game on ESPN says Central Michigan instead of Western Michigan.

I was hoping for a WMU win tonight. You guys should have won this game. Carder, by the way, is an outstanding QB, regardless of his performance tonight. Your O line let him down, big time.

Carder was awful, although those in love with stats will disagree.

The o line was outclassed, but Carder lost his composure completely.

Got to hide the ice cream machine from those O line guys. Anthony Parker looks like he ate Kalamazoo and fell asleep in the weight room. Hell, the whole O line looks like they eat ice cream machines.

Despite all the bad karma WMU had in this game, the Broncos never gave up. You staying within striking distance and had a chance to win at the end. Should be proud of the effort, regardless of the outcome.

In restrospect, this was one of the weirdest games I've seen in a long time. Onside kicks, four turnovers on two plays, a one-handed catch by an underrated All-American receiver (is that possible?), passing team vs. running team, etc.
