Potter needs to play Safety on Kick Offs instead of trying to get into Main Wave.

Potter needs to kick the ball in the damn end zone like he should.

Purdue has came in with a good game plan. If they could holld onto the ball it would be a huge blow out.

Wmu game plan, not so much...

I am at the game and the bronco presence is superb. Everything tremendous except the score. Onside friggin kicks, and carders friggin picks. We can win this though. We need to get the momentum back on our side. Its a little depressing on this side right now.[/quote]

Should be dominating? Are we watching the same fricking game? If the first half is any indication of what's to come, Purdue's stronger, smarter and has equal or better talent in skills positions.

RE: THE OFFICIAL 2011 PIZZA BOWL THREAD!!
If we can overcome our own mistakes and play calling we have a good chance to come back in the 2nd half. Considering we have given up a kickoff return for TD, 2 Int's, 2 onside kicks lost, and idiotic short yardage play callling, it is surprosing we are only down 2 scores here. I'm not sure I agree that Purdue is stronger than WMU. I think we have more skill at some key positions like QB and WR, for sure. If we can get our heads out of our @#$es we might be able to do something here.

Lots of grumbling about Cubit, Obama and the UAW in this section. We have the better crowd, now our coaches have to do their part.

They are doing their part. They are just extremely terrible at it. That is reality.

Isn't Cubit supposed to be some sort of offensive guru? What the hell are they doing in short yardage? The fascination with the Cubit run option is bizarre.

Carder is getting hit on every single play. Purdue is only rushing 3 guys!!!
You guys might have the worst offensive line in the nation.

RE: THE OFFICIAL 2011 PIZZA BOWL THREAD!!
Cubit is a great coach but he chokes severely when we get into the red zone. Nothing new today. I have been disappointed in our red zone play calling for several years. It's just something he has never been good at. One of these off-seasons he will work on his weaknesses and come out better for the next season, just as he expects players to do.
