Josh looses some games and he's inexperienced, too nice, and "in over his head!!!!1".... he should "go back to coaching AAU!!!1".... he's definitley not worth his paycheck!

After Stan Simpson's first exhibition game, he's the best thing since Keli Wise... "definitely an upgrade over Coleman!!!!!1". He's the "piece that will take us to the Elite Eight!!!!1"

After Stan's next game, he's "awful!!1".... "definitely not Memphis material!!!1".

Joe Jackson has a couple bad games.... he's "wild and out of control!!!1". He'll never be the player he was in high school!!!!11

Joe Jackson follows up with a 20 point game, with 5 assists and 1 turnover, he's a Tiger legend..... "The King if Memphis!!!!1". Will he be a 1 or 2 in the NBA????

Will Barton has a 6 turnover game where he made some poor decisions.... he's an "out of control street baller!!!1".... Josh can't control these guys, far too nice. We need a Cal to relate to these kids.

Will Barton's next three games he lands a double-double.... he's "on another level".... he's "the real deal". He's stepped up as the true leader of this team!

Chris Crawford is moved to point and has a nice game.... makes some nice passes and seems to run the offense well. From here on out "put Crawford at point and bench Joe!!!!1".... I told you months ago that Crawford has NBA potential at point!!!1"

The next game Crawford doesn't play as well and the Tigers lose.... Crawford is "awful at point!!!!1".... he's "too slow and can't defend the position!!!!1"..... put Joe back at the 1!!!!!

.....this would be Grade A comedy if folks weren't dead serious about it all.

I get excited sometimes when our guys to start playing well, but I've never felt as if Memphis is entitled to win every game and naive to believe every player will have a great game each time.

Amen. People always see things differently, and change their minds with more input, and swing emotionally when things go well or poorly. Big deal.

The real problem is that hardly any thread gets past a few posts before it turns into a pissing contest. I don't mind the wild swings in opinions. I just mind the nagging, or the self serving posts, like the ones going through a game thread after the fact to bayonet the wounded, by pointing out the "bad comments."

Very true. I learn stuff every day. I don't need anyone pointing out that I didn't know it yesterday. Game threads should be treated as bar banter.
