Lady Trojans proved something to me last
night. We got killed on the boards, couldn't stop their big player inside, had fewer assists and more turnovers and fouls (small difference in these three), yet we won the game. How. We had great offensive production from a number of players. We scored. I have to admit one area that I normally promote doesn't apply to our women's team. We don't have any capable three point shooters, but we have a number who can score in the paint, so that makes up for it.
Anyway, although the ladies are still very young, they beat a pretty good team last night which should give them a little confidence.

The moving back of the three point line for the ladies to where the men play from has seemingly made a pretty big difference in their game. Not just UALR, but all the teams I've seen play seem to be shooting and making many less three pointers than in the past. But they'll catch up to it in a few seasons, just like the men did.04-cheers
