I think we'll trounce these Mercer whatchmakallits like a step child. We will score 65 points and they will score 63. The day after the game is over, everyone on "the blitz", the "animal", 740AM, Channel 5, 6, 8, and 9 (or 2 if you don't have cable) will say what great defense we played.

Scheduling Mercer equals "job security" - at least it used to. But wasn't that the sentiment before last years UALR game?

This Tulsa team looks tough to grade. The one thing I see for sure is that Mercer is playing better than them right now. Mercer "whatchmakallits"? When was the last Hurricane to hit Oklahoma?

You're singing to the choir on the GH name. That one is hard to explain. Didn't mean to belttle your school, I'm sure its a very nice one. Why don't you tell us a little about it and give us some information about it.

By the way, you're probably right about the score on our side. With the offense this coach teaches and expects executed, it is almost impossible to score more than in the mid-60's.

Mercer is a private school in Macon, Georgia. Less than 9,000 undergrad + grad students. Been in the Atlantic Sun for a long time, and haven't reached the NCAA Tournament since 1985. It's been a cold run where they just can't get over the hump. A program that has quite a few quality wins over the years, but cannot put an entire season together. This year looks promising and one of the best starts so far in a long time!
I thought Tulsa would be a tough game when I saw the original schedule. It looks like most of your fans want the coach fired? I was not expecting TU to have a 5-7 record at this point. Looking forward to this game to see where MU is at post-Christmas.
