Greene and Jackson combined for 15 offensive rebounds.

barndog,

Its funny because I figured it would go that way swith KSU letting off the gas at the end. The exact opposite happened. Ah well. Life is good for a teacher and Kent State fan tonight.

Yeah, the Flashes had to step on the gas at the end.

Not sure how you play that poorly and win. I guess that's good? Game was getting out of hand until Porrini came in. And I'll pile on with the praise for Patrick Jackson. You're a full Flash now. I know another big man who would not have had 13 rebounds tonight.

When will this team play a solid game? Right now, it's about 6 minutes of good basketball per game. That won't cut it in the MAC East.

Yep. I would bet my left nut that he wouldn't have grabbed double digit rebounds. 03-nutkick

axeme, OU looks especially impressive so far. The MAC east will be brutal.

What's the story on Johnson? I know he had the knee (?) problem in the past, but he seems a non-factor. Are residuals of health issues holding him back, or is he just not very good (at least compared to all the other forwards)?

Just tune in to the second half of our games.

Seriously, we have to figure out how to play both halves before MAC season opens.

RE: Kent State vs. Saint Peter's
Don't want to make excuses but here goes. First game after finals and that long layoff have historically been sloppy slugfests. Throw in the roster uncertaintly with Manns and Porrini plus the fact after a long grueling semester they are on a 5 day business trip in god knows where Utah while everyone else is with family readying for holidays. I'll take a 2-1 trip and lets get ready for MAC play.

The MAC East will be a beast but all teams will face adversity and slumps and if we can continue to grind out wins while encountering that all the better.

I am beginning to worry about Guyton. He has gone from best on team to almost a liability. 1 for 10 will not make it. Looked good at WVU and that was it.

Yes it seem like he is forcing a lot of shots lately, instead of just letting the game come to him.

let hope he gets it fixed.

shooting will come around ,I think layoff hurt evryone. very sluggish last night
