We need to avoid a total embarrassment.

They are prone to press from the start of a game, especially against a team that doesn't handle the press well. I'd spend about 90% of practice time these next weeks working on beating the press. That's really killing us.

Hey, I don't think we should even worry about it, and I hope the players don't either. We have absolutely nothing to lose, and a big paycheck guaranteed. Anybody who pays any attention to this game will not expect the Trojans to do anything other than to get blown out of the gym. So the players should go in there loose and have fun playing on a big stage, where no one expects them to compete. The worse they can do is what people already expect, so the bar is pretty low to improve on that.

Good point. If you expect nothing, and get nothing, you avoid disappointment.
