Look at D'Andre's stats in a given game
and anytime he is having to carry the load himself, his A/TO ratio goes to pot. When he is having to score and rebound, the key point guard numbers slide.

Saturday he had 13 point and 8 rebounds - great numbers for a point guard. But he also had 3 assists against 5 turnovers, NOT good numbers for a point guard.

Maybe he can be the man bringing the ball down to break the press, but move him to the two position and let someone else run the point. Once we get our offense set, any one of two or three players could man the point. Remember when Jimmy Counce used to play the "Point Forward" for the Hogs. I think either Dillard or Taggart could handle that position.
