Looks like The Big East will be really, really weak.

Actually they aren't in Big East unil 2013 so this goes on their MWC portfolio . Wyoming getting beat by Temple and now SDST get beat by Louisiana. That request by the MWC to get AQ status for next two years is looking good.

Perception is reality. The day they took those invites they were Big East schools. Might technically be in the MWC right now but I dont think the announcers talking about their move to the Big East in a few of the games yesterday did anything to alter the perception, it even clouded the reality.

Doesn't really matter, so the BIG EAST now has the #7 Ranked school in the BCS in Boise State I guess even though they haven't played one down in the league.

Same goes for #19 Houston also.

In the BCS era it doesn't matter if you win your conference...hell you don't even have to win your conference division and win the BCS Title-(Alabama, 2nd in the SEC West) but still play'n for the BCS Title...

Perception by espn announcers regarding BigEast would not change even if Penn State joined. So not worth worrying about it

Are you in any way comparing the little least with the SEC? Maybe like some bottom dwelling SEC teams we in MS are familiar with, you are trying to attach your worthyness with the bcs affilliation? The little least has nothing in common with the SEC and would never be in the tittle game as LSU and Bama are this year.

The Alliance isn't a AQ conference. So it isn't the same. Come on now

We would beat either of those teams by three touchdowns.
