Makes sense. Denver has an RPI of 32. Would be a number of spots higher if not for a 2 point OT loss to #18 Iona. I tend to pull for Denver, but with them leaving the conference it wouldn't look good for them to win the thing this year. Hate to see them go.

I'm planning on us winning the conference. And the tournament.

Drinking again Doc? I think Shields rubbed all the hair off that rabbits foot last year.

I'm predicting Steve will take the reins off, let them pass, run and shoot and just have a lot of fun and win some games. Shoot every shot with at least 20 seconds remaining on the time clock. Begin averaging 100 points a game. Please Lord. Don't let me wake up.

You're not just drinking, you're commode hanging drunk.

At the rate we're currently going, last year's losing record in regular season will look great compared to what is looking to become an absolute train wreck this year. When I was discussing this season last night with someone, it was stated that this year was a rebuilding year. Then we both looked at each other and simultaneously said "Rebuilding from what?"

I think LRTrojan is right. No way to catch lightening in a bottle two years in a row. But, basketball is a funny game, and things could turn around dramatically in conference play. Let's hope. That's about all we can do right now.
