Lady Trojans lose again
This losing is getting to be a habit out on University Avenue. The Ladies lose at Oral Roberts by 15. Looks like a very long year for Trojan fans of both teams. I don't know what to expect from either team in conference. It's getting where I go to the game saying "we'll lose tonight," or "we'll lose two tonight."

RE: Lady Trojans lose again
I guess there is a double standard here. We thought that Coach Foley would have a hard time with all his young players this year, and are always willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. However, Steve is facing the same type situation, and yet we tend to be less forgiving of the men's teams losses. It is sort of strange. Both lost most of their stars from last year's team, so we have to understand it really is a rebuilding season for both. Both teams are fun to watch. It's just tough to lose so many games starting the season. But we have a long way to go, and I think we'll end up fairly well. I don't look for a conference championship, although that's not out of the question, but I do look for us to finish around .500 or so before it's all over. I think the men are getting closer to playing winning basketball.

No double standard. Foley hasn't had a losing season since he righted the ship after taking over one the worst program in the Sun Belt. He's had five 20 win seasons in a row. His winning percentage at UALR is .624 per cent, with no losing seasons since the first three. If he has a losing season this year, it will be his first since righting the worst program in the league. Foley's record is proof of the fact he is an excellent coach.

Shields took over a solid and winning program, but has had three losing seasons in his first eight, but has had three two twenty win seasons. His winning percentage prior to this year is .541 per cent. Shields is proof that he is an average coach at best. If the men have a losing season this season, it'll be fourth out of nine years. That's not a double standard. Those are facts.

They won't beat anyone with 29 turnovers.
