Not a Crisp Start
On paper, Miami (OH) should have been a team we beat. Ian shot 25% and as a team we shot 28% from 3-point. We only had 8 points from Mick and Scott inside. We also had 11 assists and 15 TOs.

It's a good indicator that the game and the season is not meeting expectations when Byrd is slapped with 2 Ts and ejected.

I can't imagine Rick Byrd getting that angry to get ejected from a game. Officiating must have been legitimately pitiful.

Such a trap game - bad team, on the road Christmas break. I'm glad we lost, now I think we have a better chance of beating Marshall and Peay. Every season we have at least one really bad loss. Miami (OH) was it.

It may have been a trap game, but we haven't played extremely well most of the year. It's half time right now in the Marshall game and Sage was talking about how the offense looks crisp for the first time. I've attended many of the games so far and we don't look crisp on offense.

Ian looks tentative with his shots. He seems to be overthinking some shots. Brandon takes some threes too quickly. When there are a few more passes on the offensive end, he shoots more accurately. Scott and Mick are missing layups and don't seem to take it to the rim with authority.

On the bright side, Kerron is amazing.
