Well, we asked for it...
Come and listen to a story 'bout Truck Driver U.
Grads can pull a trailer and PhDs pull two!
And then one day ole Coach Hawkins moved away,
So Coach Pete took the wheel and said, "I'm here to save the day!"

Football. Blue Field. WAC domination.

Well, the first thing you know, ole Pete's a millionaire!
Bronco Country said,"Pete move away from there!"
"The Mountain West Conference is the place we oughta be."
So they loaded up the trucks and joined a different family.

Zubes. Utes. Horned Frogs.

Well now it's time to say goodbye to Pete and all his kin.
Can't say we're all that happy that you're leaving us again.
But you're all invited back next year to the Em Double You C,
When you find there's nothing left of the conference called B.E.

Y'all come back now. Ya hear?
