Next thing you know, Midnight Madness will be our normal starting time.

When you play a double header, you can't start much earlier than 5:15 on a week day. And there weren't many fans there then.
What I am wondering about is, why the men played the matinee game, and the Ladies played the late game.

I can't figure out the 4:30 Saturday afternoon starting time. Sunday afternoon is our worst day and time for drawing fans, while Saturday afternoon comes next. Why aren't we playing at 7 or 7:30 on Saturday? I can't figure that one out.

Ladies were playing the premier game that day. South Dakota State is one of the better mid major programs in the country. The men were playing what was essentially an exhibition game. I think the ladies deserved top billing that one time.

The ladies have deserved top billing the last couple of years based on the success on the court, but when you get to the point where your women's team is the premier team, you know you're in trouble. The men have to be your main attraction.

Have to be. But our opponent may have dictated the switch.
