Another loss this time with 32 turnovers to a 0-9 team. Miame Giden did not play again. Anyone have the story? Is she hurt? etc.

Coach McDowell is now only 32-67 at WMU with 13 of those wins the 1st year.

That's too bad they lost especially with all those turnovers. I was at the game Saturday vs Milwuakee, and they really hustled, cut down on turnovers, rebounded well, and won. I liked No. 2 and also that freshman Obrien.
It was a well played game for the lady Broncos.

But Ron wouldn't play the PC games with the ladies. Nice going, KB.

A new hire by KB that tanks, does not mean that she should have kept Ron.

WMU gets 2nd win while across town KVCC gets their 11th. 11-0 now and I suspect Nationally ranked again.
Wonder if Ron Welch would like a job at WMU??

I told everyone back when Stewart was let go that Welch should have gotten the job. He is probably to old to take it now, but man that guy is a great coach.

Would be interesting to see how Welch would do at the division 1 level..

Yes, she should have. She should have never put herself in position to tank that hire.

KVCC is ranked #4 Nationally

Welch's roster isn't all that impressive. He doesn't even get the best of the best from the area. But he's a very good coach, and I have no doubt he could get more out of this team than our current coach has.

KVCC is now 18-0, 6-0 National rated #4

WMU womens team is now 5-13

Yeah, Tasha's had 3 years, and it just seems to get worse. Probably time to start looking for a replacement.

I know nothing of her or any of her players. Obviously they haven't won much.

Bad coach? Bad recruiter? Both? Wrong fit? All of the above?

With the number of turnovers Women's team makes sounds like they can't dribble or pass. Or catch.

Fundamentally bad and-or not D-I players. Coaching, recruiting, or both.

the Women's team has just been painful to watch this year. They have absolutely NO size (the only size they had is "no longer with the program"). They get wrecked on the glass every game, and can't seem to finish inside.
