Definitely a good team: Ken Pomeroy has them ranked 88 and RealTimeRPI has them at 7th. They're 5-2 with losses to Murray State and Denver on the road.
They score 74.3 points per game and only allow 64.7, but statistically their defense isn't that great. Opponents shoot .398 from the arc and .438 overall.
Where they really shine is in exactly the two places the Jags do: rebounding and free throw shooting. They average 43 rebounds per game and better their opponents by 11 per game. On free throw shooting they're even better than USA, hitting .772.
As a team they shoot .418 from the field and .368 from three. They must have some aggressive guards because they average getting blocked 4.3 times per game.
They will be tough, but I like the matchup here. They don't have the athletic big guys that have hurt us so badly this year. Maurice Bolden is 6'10", but he's a 200lb guard, not an inside players.
Given the homecourt advantage, I say USA will take this one 69-66.

It's insane. I'd say they had good looks on 3 or 4 of those threes and the rest were pretty well defended. Everything is falling for them.
We already miss X. He could help control these guards of USM.

Wow, if anyone thinks CRA is unpleasant to his players they should have a look at Larry Eustachy. He just called a time out, ran on the floor and grabbed a player by the arm and shouted into his face about something (I assume his defense since the Jags had just scored).

We also need Ammons to do SOMETHING, create some offense.

We need to go on about a 20-0 run.
