It's people like this and the BCS cartel that makes business a better major than coaching in the modern world of college football. And it's plain wrong.

Never seen such a whiny bunch of p#ssies than the USM and ECU fans. Honestly, I almost want to sympathetically menstruate when I hear you guys cry. Of course not.
But theoretically college sports isn't about the money. It's not a 9-5. I don't want to get in to a discussion over how fair the system is and whether the players should be paid. I'll let Coach Edwards explain it for me:

I'm serious. Congratulations, but the conference doesnt mean sh*t. You are going to some beef or NO bowl and everybody in the league lost $1.4 million. I think if you had beat UAB you might be in a BCS bowl. Thus the reason I hate this conference, it ALWAYS finds a way to shoot itself in the foot.

I appreciate your idealism but unfortunately everything in America is about $$$ now.
nobody in CUSA LOST anything because we didn't have that money to begin with. It's kind of like bitching about not getting an extra birthday present. By the way it was going to be in the neighborhood of $500k not $1.4M. One year getting an additional $500k ain't much in the grand scheme of things when BCS schools get that plus a massive TV deal every single year.

Oh they earned it, I'm happy they won but they fact that they lost to UAB ruined the importance of the game. The. They won the game which ruined the importance of the conference. So at the end of the day they don't win anything, even though everyone, including me, thinks they are a great team.
