Thats just idiotic! If the BCS goes, they'll go back to the old setup. The playoff has no support among college presidents, and passing that would only hurt the Texas public schools, IMO.

its just a politics thing, the bill expires on Jan 2 right before any BCS bowls unless 5 selected states also pass similar bills

I think its just away for UTexas to get a chance to play for a national champioship by getting around Oklahoma
