Here's my suggestion to get this team on track.
If you want to change defenses, do it. But on offense, just let the kids play. They've been playing all their lives. Most know how to set screens and hit the open man. That's all I would tell them. Just go out there and play and have fun. Just those two things on offense. Set screens and hit the open man. And the just let them play. If they throw the ball away a few times, so what. They're going to do that no matter what style of offense you're playing. Work on things in practice that allow players to make the decisions when they're on the court.

Obviously you don't want someone coming down court and jacking up wild shots. Make a few passes until you hit an open man, and then shoot the ball without thinking. I can nearly guarantee you we'd start playing better. In all sports, you can't be thinking consciously about what you're doing. It has to be instinctive. Got to play loose.
Can't be mentally tight. Just my uninformed opinion.04-cheers
