I think that everyone has jumped on the bandwagon that the BCS will only be about teams 1-2 and that the rest would go back to the old ways. It will be interesting to see if the major bowls will still shell out 17milion a game without access to the NC game or with the label that sets them apart from the others.

Two inaccuracies in that article:

1) BYU didn't join the Big East because they wouldn't come in as an equal partner .... they wanted their TV contract money and the Big East TV contract money, too. It wasn't because the new Big East TV contract was possibly going to be too small.

2) And the author repeats the line about the ACC taking UConn & Rutgers - which is completely false; it was floated just to destroy the Big East expansion.
