I wouldn't look at RPI until at least Christmas...

What's funny with our schedule is that each of our 3 home opponents left Huntington and went to Cincinnati. Because of this they all started 0-2. That kind of stuff hurts our early season RPI.

Yea, and Southern Miss has an RPI of #4 and the #2 SOS right now.... That may be the stupidest thing I have seen in a long time. Obviously, early RPI does not mean anything.

What makes you think he is a newbie basketball fan, ECU fans have pulled for some of the best basketball teams in the country over the years while our team has sucked....He was just posting fact. We all know that the RPI is crap this early in the season but it is still very good for ECU to be this high, much better than starting in the 200s like years past. I love the way some Marshall fans act like they are something in basketball, they have had a few decent seasons and you would think they were Carolina or Duke by the way they act sometimes.

I guess I did prove it because this same thread is posted every year. OMG Southwest copper tech university is RPI #8!!! You guys are right though, I should have taken my own advice and just ignored the thread and let ECU fans celebrate their certain basketball championship.

Dude you are an idiot...Where in this thread was there any kind of celebration or smack about ECU's basketball team. He posted information only, you are the one that went off the deep end. It appears to me you are the person with a problem.

I have watched UNCW a couple times this year. One was a 3 point victory at home vs a D2 school that failed to win 10 games last year, the other to a sorry Maryland team with 6 scholorship players. They are aweful. I'm glad Marshall won but I expected you to run them out of the gym. Seems like Marshall + NCAA hype is just that. You didn't do much better than we did last year in conference (we actually won 10 games including the tourny you won 9 CUSA games) and your front court doesn't sound as good. No need to talk **** to us in basketball or anyone for that matter squeaking out 5 point wins to a crappy team like UNCW with 8 freshman.
