that the BE is making a strategic move to construct a mostly urban conference. While the western schools don't share the same culture with the BE members the idea of a city conference is attractive to people like me.

Many of us will never truly be accepted in the traditional conferences. We never really were in the SWC. Yet, we all have specific attributes we bring to the table.

I like the idea of my school affiliated with more mostly sophisticated cities.

I really never want to return to a "good ol' boy conference". Yes, the allure of playing Satan every year is strong but I know deep down it would spell trouble for my school.

I want to get this going!

No. We will not be called the Metrosexual Conference. I live about an hour from the Houston campus, but I consider myself a country boy at heart since I live in a rural town. And from my experience, most Houstonians are actually down-to-Earth country people at heart. I would hardly consider Boise an urban place. I mean, people surf on the river-I go ten feet from any of the rivers in Chicago and I have to get tested for Hepatitis, Syphilis, Gonorrhea-that river is just dirty, been everywhere.

People from everywhere else in Idaho go to Boise and gaze up at the tall buildings.

Well that conference did exist already (The Metro Conference)......I imagine CUSA still holds the naming rights to it.....maybe we could throw in a case of Bud Light along with the exit fees for UCF, UH and SMU and get the conference name also.

That's funny, because I'm not a metrosexual.

This is why I want to see Louisville remain in the Big East with other urban institutions. It's the natural fit. I also want to see the Big East remain defiant to the last before it succumbs to the establishment that seeks its destruction.

Me too. Wish there weren't so many Big 12 leg huggers, on our Scott and Rivals boards. You can not even discuss the New Big East on them. It is sad.

LOL, Yeah I can just see it now. People converging from cow pastures everywhere immediately adjacent to Boise like zombies for the chance to gaze upon that three story building, just past the only stop sign in town. Just kidding Boise St. fans, I just had this visual in my head, and I've heard that Idaho is a beautiful State if one is in to the great outdoors.
