No - it's not just you. WVU has a superiority complex. They obviously have no appreciation for the Big East at all now based on their AD's comments.

That's why I will be laughing the first time he opens his mouth in big12 WV is Iowa state east in the minds of Texas and Oklahoma

The real irony of it is that some of you who are advocating big money payouts and legal action will probably be fans of members of the Big XII by the time the money issues are all settled.

No dude, this is about one conference's complete disregard for another conference's survival and by-laws. B12 of all conferences should know exactly what BE is going through right now. None of this stuff has to be said publicly. All of this stuff can be settled behind the doors. The fact those guys are going off in the media is showing what a bunch of arrogant f*cks they are. BE might be run by amateurs, but I know for a fact BE got a ton of lawyers.

It's gonna take a lot more than money to make teams whole as far as lost games are concerned. Replacing WVU with random MAC school is not equal.

The correct analogy is the singer who signs a contract with specific arena A. Just because the court rules that she doesn't have to sing at arena A, it doesn't mean she can sign at arenas B,C and D in the meantime.

I don't get why an AD or the head of a conference needs to talk down another school or conference in public. Since 2010 I have lost respect for Texas, Texas A&M, Missouri, WVU, Syracuse, and Pitt. I don't blame Nebraska, Colorado, BYU, TCU, Utah, for leaving to a more stable situation. The first group caused the problems the second group just took what was out there. When Houston, UCF, and SMU join the Big East good for them.

This isn't the end of conference realignment, college sports is always changing so why talk down a school or conference that you might need in the future.

Nebraska should not be included in that group. They did as much **** talking as anyone on the way out the door, and before they left. In fact, they bitched about the very system they helped create and benefited handsomely from (unequal revenue sharing).

I still respect Cuse and Pitt. They haven't taken pot shots at the Big East, were grateful for the opportunities and memories there and have agreed to abide by the contract they signed for exit procedures and fees. I don't blame them for moving to a conference where they are both better institutional fits.

Wishful thinking, Frog!

See, the Frog knows that the Big 12 has no long term conference stability as long as its number stays at 10. Frog knows that Texas (the real Wizard behind the curtain) is pulling the strings and just wants a place to maximize $$$ as Dodds experiments with the LHN. Dodds and UT have no interest in splitting the pie two more ways, especially since they're keeping options open on further conference movement. The UT/A&M angst grows by the day and will grow more contentious as A&M starts SEC play. Horn will NOT appreciate playing in a perceived lesser conference and its a matter of time before things heat up with the Pac 12 again.
That makes Frog nervous because when UT/OU/TT/OSU bolt, it will be back to the MWC for the purple frawgies.
