Well, I am still watching the game. We are still learning how to generate looks.
Our defense and rebounding is improving. We lack a go to guy at this point for points. Guy is going to be that man but not against big ten level players.

Just finished watching the 1st half. We are doing some good things. We all know it is going to be a while before we develop and offense.

It's tough to win games if you can't shoot. Maybe this will improve, but it doesn't look like we have a Mouzy or Bozeman on this team.

You can't win many games with only 6 assists either.

No you can't and it will get better against teams more our size and spend.
Teams that go in and beat good teams like that pass the ball and shoot well. This team just is too early on to do that yet.

That's the point I've been attempting to make. Playing together should make the team better, but either you can shoot or you can't.
It doesn't matter how many games you play. And nobody has shown the ability to shoot a high percentage from the 3 point arc. Chucky had open looks on all his 3 pointers except the first one, when he forced one as the shot clock was about to expire. It had nothing to do with Big Ten talent. There were shots he couldn't get off which was attributed to the defense, but he had plenty of open looks which he missed.
I do believe he'll have some good shooting games, but he hasn't proved that yet. In fact, he sat out most of the first half which makes me wonder if he might have been feeling ill. But I like the way our team is hustling and playing really hard defense. Every player that gets on the floor is giving 100%, and you can't ask for more than that. I was really proud of our effort tonight.

My point is, I don't think we know anything yet. Tulsa was game one, emu played zone, and mich st was just to quick and long.
