Baker is 0 for the season. Yes, he has not made a field goal this season. Yesterday, he had 4 fouls and zero points in 14 minutes of play. For the season he is averaging 15 minutes a game, 0.7 points.

On the other hand, freshman Spencer Turner scored 8 points in 10 minutes. We even had a walk-on freshman, Reece Chamberlain score 6 points in eight minutes.

I'm not upset with Brandon. He works harder than anyone on the floor, but I can't understand why Byrd is giving him so many minutes when we have other more talented players available.

Coach Byrd has allowed players to work themselves out of slumps and we don't have many bodies at that position, so there aren't a lot of options. Noack hasn't been great either. Jenkins at least showed a little something today as well and may start to move up the depth chart. Turner is going to have to find time at the two or three which is fairly competitive even if Ian isn't off to a great start offensively. As a team we're not shooting ft or 3pt the way we should be. Even still, that was a great win today. MTSU has a really good team.
