They are good and I feel good about their season. Wojcik takes a lot of crap from disenchanted fans the way Shields did up until recently.

Wku has weak guard play

You have to understand a couple of things about WKU this year.

#1 we are extremely young (7 newcomers this year). Its going to take some time for these guys. I am heartened by the fact that Derrick Gordon scored 25 in his first game as a Hilltopper last week (the most any WKU freshman has ever scored in an opening game). Some of our freshmen have been suprisingly game ready.

#2 we have several starters sitting on the bench rght now for various reasons including all of our size players (Akol, Fant, Drane).

The long and short of it is that I always knew that with FAU, USA, MTSU returning what they do (and with us being as young as we are) this year was all about next year for WKU.

I have no doubt that things will get better.
